In a stunning turn of events, U.S. Representative Lauren Boebert found herself in the midst of controversy, being escorted out of a theatrical performance of ‘Beetlejuice’ at the Buell Theatre in Denver.

Witnesses have claimed that Boebert’s disruptive behavior, including vaping, excessive use of her cell phone, and causing a disturbance, led to her removal from the show.

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts had no choice but to take action after multiple complaints from fellow audience members.

Although the theater did not name Boebert directly, the Colorado Republican identified herself through a tweet that read, “It’s true, I did thoroughly enjoy the AMAZING Beetlejuice… and I plead guilty to laughing and singing too loud!”

The report revealed that the individuals removed from the theater were observed vaping and using a cell phone to record the performance, both of which were clear violations of the theater’s viewing policies.

Theater staff received multiple complaints about their behavior, leading to a warning during intermission. Despite this, the disruptive actions persisted, prompting security to intervene and summon Boebert and her companion.

Eyewitnesses were left shocked as surveillance footage, shared with local news outlets, captured the congresswoman and her guest being confronted by security guards.

The video depicted a divisive scene as Boebert engaged in heated discussions with the guards, uttering phrases such as “Do you know who I am?”“I am on the board”, and “I will be contacting the mayor”. Even as they were escorted out of the theater, their defiance continued, resulting in a prolonged argument with the staff.

Boebert’s campaign manager, Drew Sexton, quickly dismissed the incident as blown out of proportion, stating, “in her personal time, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is indeed a supporter of the performing arts”. However, Sexton’s attempts to downplay the episode failed to quell the growing speculation surrounding Boebert’s behavior.

This is not the first unconventional interaction Boebert has had with authorities. Notably, prior to her political career, she faced multiple arrests and summonses on minor charges, as reported by The Denver Post.

Furthermore, Boebert faced restrictions on accessing the House floor during her initial days at the U.S. Capitol due to her refusal to comply with the newly implemented security measures.

The incident has ignited a frenzy of discussions, with critics questioning Boebert’s judgment and decorum as a congresswoman. Some argue that her actions reflect a lack of respect for established rules and regulations, which raises concerns about her ability to represent her constituents effectively.

As the spotlight shines on this unexpected theater scandal, it remains to be seen how Boebert’s tumultuous episode will impact her political career. Will constituents rally behind her as a vocal advocate, or will her behavior overshadow her political message?

In the meantime, ‘Beetlejuice’ continues to captivate audiences, with theatergoers eager to witness the acclaimed performance firsthand.
